I am also playing around with expect, and am about to start trying out a couple of
lists run from cron.  Personally, I'm not that proficient, but I'm working with a
scripting wizard, and we're working on a series of perl/expect modules.  If it
works out well I was thinking I'd make them available to others.  I was figuring I
was about a week or two away from really having a handle on this, but would love
to begin talking to somebody who's also working with expect.

Basically, the CL module allows for the translation of SQL-like statements into CL
syntax.
