My Millennium update

When My Millennium was first introduced, there were a few reports of problems with it from some sites.  As we are considering implementing
this soon, it would be very useful to know whether this is now stable enough to go ahead.  The main problem I recall was that the My
Millennium login sessions were sometimes getting dropped intermittently, returning the user to non-logged in mode.  I have seen this happen
myself recently on another system (with cookies enabled and a static IP address).  

Any comments and advice on this would be very welcome.  Also, does the type or version of browser appear to make any difference to the
stability of sessions?
