Reminder to IUG Program Recorders

Quick reminder to all of you excellent people who are sending program
summaries for the conference proceedings:

Summaries + Handouts are due FRIDAY JUNE 15, so send a draft to the program
coordinator to look over first, and then get them in before ALA!  Send in
ELECTRONIC format to:  Whitney Alexander  (walexander@xxxxxxxxxx).


HANDOUTS:
----------
We will NOT include handouts that duplicate what was included in the
conference notebook.  If you picked up different handouts, try and get an
electronic version from program coordinators if possible.  Send Whit the URL
for handouts that are available on the web. If electronic copies are not
available, then send the paper handouts to:

FORMATTING:
------------
No need for pretty graphics or trying to take IUG logos or anything like
that.  Include the program number (e.g., H2) next to the program name at the
top of the summary.  We want summaries, not outlines -- they are the most
useful for those who will be using the proceedings.  Try and keep length to
2 pages if possible, but we're flexible.  Send your text file in Word or
WordPerfect format as an attachment. Easy!

THANKS to all of you for doing this important work - your colleagues will
appreciate your efforts, and I know I do!  If you have any questions, let me
know soon!!
