- Subject: Anyone meta-tagging?
This isn't strictly Innopac business, but the IUG list provides a good sounding board for wider library matters - hope you don't mind me
raising this query here - or is there a better forum?
We have been wondering how systematically libraries are approaching the meta-tagging of their web-sites. Does anyone have any comments
about what they are doing in this area or what they plan to do? Are people using Dublin Core in full or lighter versions or anything
similar? Maybe some are holding back to see where developments with XML and search engines will lead? Are people manually maintaining A to
Z indexes of their web sites? It would be interesting to hear some opinions and experiences as we try to plan how to improve what we do
here.
Thanks,
Anne Turner
