- Subject: sending Recall notice
Hi all,
We are going to implement the recall service from April 1, 2001. After
testing, we found that the recall will set new due date and note will be
generated once the hold is placed. Our normal loan period is 30 days, and
i set the TIME RETURN RECALL to 7, MIN USE to 14.
Could the policies be set so that the system sends recall notice after 14
days from the checkout date and allow the user to return the item in 7
days? I checked the manual and it looks like there is no delay in sending
out recall
The situation we would like to see is:
e.g.
Checkout Date Date Hold Placed Recall Notice Sent New Due Date
April 1, 2001 April 5, 2001 April 15, 2001 April 22, 2001
