Don't even dream of the energy crisis being over anytime soon.  We have been
warned that this is a long-term problem, which most likely won't be resolved
until more power plants are built.  Of course, you'll find plenty of
Californians who subscribe to the conspiracy theory of the energy shortage
being engineered by the power vendors, but that's another story...

In the meantime, come prepared with a flashlight and fresh batteries when
you come to sunny California...  ;-)

I was told by the Westin hotel that there will be a $2.50 a day charge
due to the energy crisis.  Just thought to warn everyone.  Maybe by the
time May gets here the crisis might be over???
