You may search for the absence of 852|v in the field. I used a similar
search for holding statements that did not begin with |d and also searched
870's and 875's that did not have a |t. I think I chose the III group tag
to search in so I did get some non-hits but I was able to find those missing
the |t. It's a bit messy, especially depending on the III group tag that
the 852 is in, but you could search for the presence of a field in the 852
field that is always there. Then search for the absence of the |v field,
which would limit you to the 852 field. Good Luck,

Subject:	create list of missing delimeter

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to create a list
of records
that have a |v missing from the 852 field. I know how to
look for missing
852's, but how does one look for missing information within
that field?
There is other data in the field. This is what one would
look like
		without the |v.

		Thanks for your help!
