We have been using MillCirc for almost 1 year. We opted for no training.
All our people were proficient in the character based also. Since they were
also proficient with web techniques, it was a very easy transition. We did
the same with MillSer.

Subject: MillCirc--how long to learn to use?

I have a question for libraries that have migrated from the
character-based Innovative circulation subsystem to MillCirc. Assuming
they have some training from Innovative, how long does it take for
circulation staff to feel comfortable and to be proficient using
MillCirc? In our case, each staff person has 4-8 years experience using
Innovative in the character-based mode and knows the circ subsystem
inside and out.

I've seen messages in the archives regarding how much training is needed
from Innovative, but nothing addressing this issue.

Thanks for your help,
