Our Library soon will be part of a Town WAN. All the members of the LAN will
pass through a central firewall. At the moment, our Innopac lives outside of
our internal firewall and we rely on the "limit network access" settings for
security. We are thinking of remaining outside the firewall when we move to
the WAN, but are not sure if Innopac's internal security is enough. I've
been told that the majority of Innovative's Library clients are not behind
firewalls. Any confirmation out there that this is the case? Should we be
concerned now that we will be part of a larger town-wide network? Any
commons would be appreciated.
