Hi folks
We have a pictorial database that runs as an III database (see
http://www.catalog.slsa.sa.gov.au:1084/screens/opacmenu.html)
- records in INNOPAC have the appropriate link in the 856 field.
The images are stored on a web server at our site. (there are some 60,000 of
then mostly dealing with the history of our State)
THe web pages consist of an image and a short description of the image based
on the INNOPAC record and of course the image itself.
Now here is the question - if the original record description in III
changes, we have to manually update the description in the web page.
Would'nt it be really nice if by changing the III record the html page would
be updated automatically ?
Are we talking fundamatal changes to the way the III db is set up or are
there add on modules that will do this ?
Does anyone know if this is possible ?
Thanks
