The NC Coastal Library Consortium has had the same experience. For us,
though, the dropped sessions occur randomly. Sometimes My Millennium works
fine, but if you search long enough and with a variety of searches, it will
eventually begin dropping the My Millennium session. When the session is
dropped, one is in the WebOPAC which functions correctly. I have a call in
to Innovative. The only contact I have had back on this issue is a request
for more documentation on when, where, and how My Millennium "forgets" the
session. As this happens randomly, it has been difficult to document.

Another problem (also random) is switching from staff display to public
display and back again. At times, when switching, the new display has the
header, navigation buttons and footer, but no record.

Although I set up the automatic notification system (using the
less-than-full information from CSDirect), I'm not sure it is working
correctly.

I'm hoping Innovative will have some fixes for these issues soon. We
certainly will not advertise My Millennium in its current iteration.

does not seem to remember us for more than seconds, or a minute or two at
most. III has confirmed that our html code is identical in both places,
and our IT people say that both servers are accessed in exactly the same
way, plus we have cookies turned on. It not only doesn't work from our
OPACS in the library, it doesn't work from home, either.
