Hi Pat,

We loaded MARC records from netLibrary a few weeks ago; the records were a
subset chosen by our OCLC consortium, Nylink. A few months ago, we loaded a
test batch of 10 records from netLibrary and had an overlaying problem but
that problem has been solved with Update D, which includes a netLibrary load
table. You do need to use FTS through the Order/Receiving subsystem, as
spelled out in III's documentation; we just deleted the unnecessary order
records. III's documentation suggests setting up a netLibrary bib record
template that creates suppressed bib records, but I think that suppression
code is only needed if you're not sure that you're buying the netLibrary
titles represented by those bib records. We knew that the MARC records we
would be getting were for titles that we were actually purchasing, as opposed
to some sort of test batch, so there was no need to suppress them.

Good luck,

Kat
