Subject: Re: MARC indexing profile
I strongly support Beth's stand. Nowadays storage is cheap and indexing
operations are much faster. With all the various limiting capabilities,
you can always find different ways to reduce the result sets to a
manageable size. Also it is always good to separate the tags to as many
different indexes as allowed by the system to provide greater flexibility
for index manipulation. You may want to consult the Bath Profile before
you fiinalize your indexing decisions. Try to confirm as much to the Bath
Profile as possible is a good way to go.
