Title: Re: Ebsco electronic invoice problem
Hi Candace,

I recently FTP our invoice from Ebsco's FTP site.  They gave us instruction and I was able to FTP it into our Innopac.  They did say anything about the file is compressed.  Maybe your file is too large?  This is how the letter they sent us starts:

Dear Valued Customer:
The EBSCO Subscription Services invoice information that you requested in INNOVATIVE format is now available for pickup via the INTERNET. Your file contains header and line item records for each invoice requested. A record layout for this file is included below.  In order to do a FTP File Transfer via the INTERNET, you will need our Node name, UserID, Password, and the file specifications. This information is provided below: .....

I hope this info. helps.  Maybe they did no put it in an Innovative format.

Michael

Hi,

We've just been notified by Ebsco of a change in the way they provide us
an electronic invoice.  We are now being asked to FTP from their site a
compressed file of invoice information, and an MS-DOS batch program to
decompress it in the format we prefer - flat text, comma delimited,
Lotus 123, MS Excel, FoxPro Database, Lotus/Symphony, or MS Access.  Has
anyone been able to decompress their invoice in a format that could then
be loaded into the Innopac?  I've got a call open with III but thought
I'd check with the group.

Thanks,
Candace
