Re: Reminder Notices before due date

Hi
Every two weeks we send what we call "pre-due" notices of material that will fall due in the following two weeks, but only to patrons who have email addresses. We run a review file then use the statements option. it works well and is appreciated. However it would be really good to have this more automated as suggested.
Thanks
Julie

We would also like to send reminder notices before the actual due date
especially to faculty who have a long loan period (12 weeks), are too
busy to check when items are due, get annoyed when they receive overdue
notices and angry when they are asked to pay fines! We would like to
send these notices without having to create a review file and without
having to use statements of checkouts.

This is one of the enhancement requests on the IUG web site under
Notices/Parameters/Setup. Please support it!
