- Subject: Translating Anzio
I'm looking for some helpful people.
We are working on localizing Anzio, that is, giving it a user interface in
other languages. This includes the menus, dialog boxes, and various messages
that appear. The user will be able to select the language, it would not be
tied to the Windows setup.
This would give your patrons the option of working in a more familiar
environment. Note that this is NOT automatic translation; we will NOT
translate the host system's menus.
We are looking for a few people to translate the message file. There are about
600 lines to be translated, mostly single words or very short phrases. We are
open to suggestions about compensation. This might also be a good project for
a student or intern.
We have Spanish done, and have someone working on French. We'd even be
interested in CJK, but probably not Hebrew, Arabic, Thai, or Vietnamese yet.
If you're interested, please contact me off-list.
