electronic reserve print error message

This message has been cross-posted on the SYSLIB-L and the
Innopacusers list; please excuse any duplication.

Our library has an electronic reserve submodule through our
Innovative system and we scan e-reserves into PDF format (instead of tiff
files).

For the most part, that has worked well for three semesters but
we're recently having getting "Not Enough Disk Space" error messages when
attempting to print certain articles and the entire document will not
print out. The size of the most recent article giving us this problem is
1.17 mb.

I checked with the user manual and (unless I missed something) it
wasn't really clear on requirements to print e-reserves (as a user).

I believe the printers are not the problem because one is an HP
LaserJet 5M and the other is an HP LaserJet 8100N; I don't believe the
server is the problem either. I'm suspecting that the problem may lie with
the workstations themselves; most have 32 mb RAM, 1.9 gb capacity, and an
average of 500 to 600 mb of used space.

I was able to print one of the documents in question on my
workstation (128 mb RAM, 9.4 gb capacity, 2.33 gb used space) with no
problems.

So my question is does anyone have recommendations for printing
PDF files and are my suspicions on the right track?

        Thank you,

        Tammy K. Baker
