We set up our opacs in kiosok mode which on the whole restricts most users to the services available from the opac.

Good morning all!

I am reposting this request to hear from a librarian out there who has considered providing Internet access with the OPAC so that patron can view the links from the bib records. Or, is there any library out there who provides Internet access with your OPAC?  What are your experiences?  How do you control access to the OPAC when patron wants to surf the Net from the OPAC terminal?

use the OPAC for Internet surfing?

Can anyone share your experience with me privately?

Thank you.
