Assuming you are in Update rather than Key new records, you will have to
contact the helpdesk with this kind of request.  These unexpected changes
seem to happen after software changes or upgrades.  If you are keying new
checkin records you can change the template (aka default for new record)
so that it does not prompt with a MARC tag.
