Director, Library Learning Resources Support Services. 

Reports to Vice Chancellor for Academic Development

Education: Master's Degree from an ALA accredited school.

Experience: Five or more years supervisory experience in 
technical services for a large, multi-branch library system. 
The successful candidate must have experience in 
implementing and operating on-line automated systems in 
cataloging (with OCLC), acquisitions, circulation, ILL and 
on-line  public access catalogs. Experience in preparing 
and negotiating contract specifications. Experience with 
Innovative Interfaces, Inc. a plus. 

Job Skills: Must possess strong public services orientation, 
good technical writing ability and strong training ability

Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall supervision and 
coordination of Technical and Automated Library Services 
for five colleges, including liaison with College Library Department 
Chairpersons, budget preparation, contract negotiation.
