Local Image Linking

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi everyone,

I saw many answers from you about using the local image linking software.

I am from the National Library of Estonia and we are planning a project to
digitize cards, photographs, maps etc and to link these images with the
records in INNOPAC. Because of that I would like to ask from you - could
you, please, describe, what type of scanners did you use, was this job
done manually or was it someway automated, are you satisfied with this
software - is it easy to use etc etc.

And maybe some of you has also dealt with digitisation projects, but did
not use this software. Because you can use for digitising images many
different solutions and later create links over the field 856. If there is
somebody, who has choosen to go this way, could you also be so kind and
describe, why you choosed this way and what hard- and software did you
use.

I would be very thankful for all of you.

NB! It would probably be more reasonable to answer me off the list, I
think.

Thank you again,
Riin.
