I know there's a system option to "request" books found in the catalog. I
understand how this would work easily for subject-specific libraries such as
law, but am curious as to how this works for the more general libraries
among us.
Is this something that large general libraries have turned on? How does it
work for you? What about sites that include both general and subject
specific libraries?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
