Has anyone managed to get CJK printing working on a locally attached
printer, when using telnet software like Anzio?

We are not having much luck with this, as follows:

telnet printing of full record to local printer - gaps where CJK should
be no characters and no CCCII coding showing

telnet printing a full record to e-mail printer - ditto, just gaps
---> TITLE         / .
EDITION      1.
---> IMPRINT       : , 1997.
DESCRIPT     4 v ,chiefly ill. ; 40 cm.
SUBJECT Bronzes, Chinese -- To 618 -- Catalogs.
             Rubbing -- China -- Peking -- Catalogs.
              -- Catalogs.

ISBN/ISSN    007501312850.
CLASS        PLC572.

telnet marking of set to export
View the set - fine, full CJK display on screen

print set to local printer - as above, just gaps instead of coding.

print set to e-mail printer -
Coding is retained in the fields OK.

So, e-mail printing via Export is working, e-mail printing via full
records is not working, and printing to a local printer either way is
not working.

Any suggestions for where the problem lies, plus any suggested printed
models would be gratefully received. Users can print screen dumps from
telnet or WebPAC but it would be nice to have full functionality.
