we
offer online registration for darien residents at
the
patron fills it out and it's sent to the circulation department
email.
the
circ dept registers the patron and sends the card in the mail with a form
letter.
most
of the residents are all ready registered, so it's mostly used by
newcomers.
as far as I know we haven't done
anything with stats, the numbers are very small.

Is anyone out
there offering an online registration form for library
cards?
If so, I'd be very
interested in hearing how you set up the procedures on the staff end.
Also, did you find that patrons use this service and if you have a large
number of patrons who never pick up cards they've applied
for.
I'd appreciate any
advice/statistics you can provide. You can reply directly to the address
