Probably not this year - would be more effective after Millenium Acq is implemented and we've worked with the other aspects of the system a bit longer.

Call for program proposals/ideas - NWIUG Conference

The Northwest Innovative Users Group welcomes your proposal for a one hour
and fifteen minute program presentation at the Sixth Annual NWIUG Users
Group meeting on October 10, 2000 at the University of Portland, Portland,
Oregon.  This is your chance to share III expertise/issues with your
colleagues.  Some suggestions for program topics are:

	Hands-on Millennium: use and issues
	III for multiple libraries and/or consortia
	WebPac: Site design, enhancement, & management
	Interfaces between III and external systems
	Using the III manual
	Staff and user training
	Specific III subsystems (forum sessions - cataloging, serials,
		aquisitions)
	Electronic resources: care & feeding

Your ideas on programs you would like to see presented are also needed. Just
email these ideas to any steering committee member, listed at the bottom of
this announcement, with a description of what you would like covered. 

Deadline for proposals and ideas is August 31, 2000. 

Proposals for presentations may be submitted in an email to any steering
committee member with the following information, or use the form on the
NWIUG Web site at http://www.lib.cwu.edu/nwiug/ 
 
Your e-mailed proposal should include program title; presenter(s) name(s);
presenter(s) address(es), e-mail(s), phone # (fax and voice); contact
person if more than one presenter; program description.  Also include an
indication of which track it should belong to based on those listed below.

Main program tracks are: Circulation/Public Services, Acquisitions,
Serials, Cataloging, System Maintenance, Web Maintenance
