We have a one line TNS...We hear it only when we are listening (using our headphones) in the morning to make sure that it is giving out the correct message.

Hello,

We're just on the edge of ordering the TNS from III.  We're debating where it will go, and I realized I don't know if it will be a silent system, or will we hear it dialing?  I hear my own modem at home & it would drive me nuts if I heard it dialing all the time.  That info makes a big difference on whether it can be on a desk in our work area or needs to be in a corner of an unoccupied room.

Don't want to set up 4 phone lines & a PC, then drive everyone crazy!
