Yikes!  Could you please offer any other detail on your comments 
about NTFS?  Your comment strikes fear into my heart!  I thought I 
was all ready for MilCirc!

Do you mean __ANY__    NT machine that's built with NTFS?

Do you mean an NT machine that's got multiple partitions, including 
an NTFS partition?

A multiple-boot machine?

Can you describe what happens when you login with NT administrator 
rights?   --and, without?

What do you mean by "balks"?  Does it crash?  Freeze?

you can offer!
