When we started outsourcing our authority work, to LTI, in 1992 I think,
they said they were running a conversion program to change all 440s to a
combination of 490 1 and 830. This way they could have their program look
only at 830s, and change any that were invalid. We're used to it; I would
say, from my point of view, that the biggest problem is wasted disk space,
which is not a problem anymore. As long as the information is correct in
our Innopac.
