Another way to differentiate the 'source' of suggestions is using stat.
group numbers. They appear as 'Terminal numbers' when viewing patron
suggestions. These can be assigned by login (for text-based) or IP (for
telnet or Web). If each library has a separate range of stat. numbers it
will be easy to determine from which site the suggestion originated. I'm
unaware of any feature that requires patron identification before accepting
suggestions. However, this is possible in the "Additional Items to Acquire"
function in the OPAC which will write the request to the Suggestions file
if the patron can't be identified. (unfortunately, that doesn't help you
with your problem) If it is possible to require identification prior to
accepting suggestions I would be interested in this as well.
