- Subject: Automatic authorities processing
III is about to begin automatic authorities processing for us in preparation for bringing up our web pac. I was told that they will convert 440 bib fields to 830 and asked if we want the option of adding 490's with 1st indicator of 1. Can someone who has had the automatic authorities processing done please contact me off list about this. I am totally confused and couldn't get into the archives to see if anything was said about this previously.
