You cannot use SSH on an Innovative machine. We would like to. I =
called and was told they will not install on the server. I had =
staff from our college who went to the IUG meeting try to foment a =
little action on it. The response from III (even though others =
supported the idea) was telnet is going away so why bother. What =
it means on this campus, which in encouraging the use of SSH, is =
that people who use both the catalog in telnet form (faster than =
web) and the other campus servers will have to have two different =
telnet application.

I want
to allow public access via regular telnet but set staff sessions to =
use SSH.
What are the issues with this? Does III allow it or install it on =
the host?
Any comments would be appreciated.
