Hi, Kathy (et al.)

You can easily load patron records from a PC or other system via the FTS
process.  You do need to have the file in one of the standard layouts
for patron records.  (See the user manual or the getting started manual
for these)  Sorry, I didn't go searching for the record number.

Once the file is in place on your pc or mainframe, use the FTS software
to get the file using the Load Patron records menu option in he
Read/Write Marc records menu of INNOPAC.
Ours looks like this:
P > Load MARC PATRON records from tape or FTS 

You have to remember to ensure that the file name that you get has the
extenstion ".pfts".   Using the prompts, get the file from the other
machine.  This will move the file into Innopac. 

From there, you preprocess the file to make MARC records that Innopac's
load table can read. You need to ensure that you have a patron load
table in place. Then you proceed to load the appropriate file.
