ON MILLENIUM SERIALS:
Has anyone found a way to have more than one size of label printed
for routing slips and one size label for spine and pocket labels?
We would like to be able to have more than one size of label defined
for our Millenium serials. Our current set up provides nice spine and
pocket labels for our items, but the routing slips print on the pocket
label. The only option I see under Serials options is a one-size fits all
where labels are concerned.
I would like to print routing slips on an 8½ by 5½ sheet and have
the spine and pocket labels printed on their current labels. I think it
would be nice to have a choice of what type of labels to print also.
Currently MILSER lumps all labels - routing and spine & pocket labels
together. Our current setup requires that the labels be printed twice - one
to the attached printer for the spine and pocket labels and one to the
network printer for the routing. If the labels were separated on the
system, the user could choose which type and where to print.
I'm not sure how applicable this is to the rest of the library world
- but it sure would be helpful here.
