- Subject: OCLC Arabic Cataloging Pilot
The OCLC Arabic Cataloging Pilot which tests cataloging of Arabic-language
materials including the Arabic vernacular characters is currently underway.
You can search for MARC records using both roman and vernacular indexes,
edit records, upgrade existing records, create and add records that are not
found in WorldCat, the OCLC Online Union Catalog, and download MARC records
to your local system. The pilot project is open to all OCLC Cataloging
member libraries. For more information about the OCLC Arabic Cataloging
Pilot and to submit the participation form to register for the pilot study,
