- Subject: Re: PromptCat Workflow Question
Though we use a source other than PromptCat for our bib records, our
workflow is still the same.

We create a review file on our Innovative system (based on bib record
range), then search series entries against the series authority records in
our database. We only look at the book if there's a question or problem.

We checked fairly carefully for the first month. We also checked the
labels and the processing done. It gave us enough confidence in the
process that we didn't think it worth spending staff time to catch the
very occasional and minor problem.

We only get DLC copy.

We have a special Innovative load table set up that automatically creates
an item record based on the location and barcode number our vendor adds to
a special field in the bib record.
