- Subject: ISSN field in ILL Journal request form
When receiving a journal article in the ILL module, one is promted for
the ISSN of the journal, "if the ISSN has not already been specified in
the ILL record" (#23.649).
Question: how is the ISSN supposed to be added to the ILL record before
the Receive stage? Is it possible to change the request form to
accomodate ISSN numbers?
When the ILL request is downloaded from a Reference Database, the ISSN
is placed in the "Other info" field (according to #22.721). We don't
have Reference Databases, but I suppose that this means that it is
placed in one of the three subfields called "Q5a-Q5c" in Getting Started
Manual, and "Info0-Info2" in the WebPAC ILL request form.
Does anybody know more about this? Has anybody been able to add an ISSN
field to the ILL request form?
