John--

We have a new book list that has a link from the book title into its record
on the OPAC. We did this by exporting the record number of the record
itself. Using the record #, you can link to the record in the system.

We create the HTML list by using the Innovative Create LIst feature,
e-mailing the list and then use a WordPerfect macro to convert the list to
the HTML format we want.

You can see our list at:
http://osu.orst.edu/dept/library/newbooks/newbooks.htm

it isn't absolutely perfect, yet, but it's pretty good.

Subject: Creating a New Book List

We are interested in putting a new book list on our Web site and I would
really like to see how other institutions have done it. In particular I am
interested in those sites that have a link from their HTML page into the
INNOPAC catalog(ue). I would appreciate any institution that has such a
list sending me the URL (send to me, not the list). I will summarize the
results for the list.
