- Subject: Sorting data in Millennium
The "Using Millennium Applications" tutorial on the CSDirect site describes the
sorting capability of Millennium in reference to checkin records as:
"Millennium applications use tables to display lists of records and other data.
You can sort a table by the data in a particular column by clicking on the
heading of that column. You click once to sort that column's data in descending
order and click again to sort in ascending order."
We have not yet turned on our Millennium serials module. We want ask those you
who are currently using the module whether or not this capability extends to
item records. In our character-based system, our item records display in
ascending order (that is v.1, 1980 first; v.20, 2000 last). In Millennium
Serials, will we be able to click on a column heading and have the item records
re-display with v.20 first and v.1 last?
Thanks for you help.
