Question on 3m security system

We are an Innovative Library with a 3M Model 995 security workstation and
Models 3801 and 3802 security gates.  We are contemplating getting a service
contract on the work station and gates or just the work station itself and
wondered if other libraries had recommendations.  Are you having any
problems with the work station/gates, especially their interaction with the
Innovative system?

We also have a related question.  Our gates seem to be sensitive to lap
tops.  The manufacturer insists that laptops do not set off the gates.  Are
other libraries having similar experiences?  If so, do you have any advice?
