Ann
We have had the location scoping for some time, but recently have been
wondering about format scoping also. We can limit by format, but it seems
easier to scope ahead of time when searching. I haven't checked lately to
see if scoping is offered for format. It may have been available for some
time.
Could you send any responses to the list so others of us can check it
out?
Thanks

Subject: Scoping

The Colgate University Libraries are investigating the possibility of
"scoping" our catalog. We are interested in Format scopes (e.g., serials,
electronic resources, music, etc.) rather than Location scopes. If you
have implemented scopes by format, would you please send the URL of your
catalog to me at

Thanks!
