- Subject: Z39 Broadcast searching
We are interested in using Broadcast searching for some of our Reference
Databases and/or other library catalogs. I would be interested to hear
from Libraries who are using this feature. What have you designed for your
users? Do you offer one list that users may choose what combinations to
search or has anyone created customized screens offering pre selected
choices for particular subject areas or formats? Would you sent urls so
that I can look at your screens or, if they are not accessible to me, would
you consider sending them as e-mail attachments, Fax...
Also, do your patrons like this feature and have you had any feedback on usage.
