The Greenwich Library is located about 20 miles from New York City.  We have
an NT network with 110 PCs at this time.  We anticipate growing to 250 PCs
in the next two years.  There are a main library and two small branches.  We
circulate close to a 1,000,000 items per year.  The posting below is for a
new position.

The Town of Greenwich has an opening for the position of Technical Program
Administrator at the Greenwich Library.  The individual would perform
responsible technical and administrative work in the support and maintenance
of standalone as well as microcomputers throughout the Town.  Encompasses
installation, upgrade and maintenance of microcomputers and local area
network design, systems integtration, PC hardware and software.  Works under
the direction of the Library Director and Deputy Director and coordinates
with the Town LAN Administrator.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Computer Science or Management Information Systems plus 5 years experience
in a microcomputer/LAN environment or a Master's degree in Library Science
supplemented by the appropriate computer certifications and 3 years of
progressive technical computer and LAN experience or equivalent.
