- Subject: Release 2000 and Copy Returned Soonest
Release 2000 documentation (both the manual and the summary of Release
2000 enhancements) make references to a Copy Returned Soonest option
through the circulation subsystem:
Choose COPY RETURNED SOONEST HOLD from the CIRCULATION SUBSYSTEM menu.
Enter the title or Bibliographic record number at the prompt:
It's not clear if this is a new option that appears on the menu or if
this is within Holds Management in Additional Circulation functions.
Another section discussing how to place holds through circulation makes
a reference to 0>Copy Return Soonest being unavailable if the library
has a library priority table which we have. In that case the system
pages an available copy. So does this mean the menu choice (if there is
one) does not appear if you have a priority table?
