Airports

From San Jose Airport

Ground Transportation to the Hotel:
The San Jose International Airport website offers information on airlines, shuttles, taxis, and rental car agencies serving the San Jose International Airport. The hotels are approximately 10-15 min. by taxi from the airport; rates will run between $14 and $20. See the Airport Ground Transportation Map for locations of ground transportation islands for connections to taxis, shuttles, and public transportation.

VTA Buses to the Convention Center:
Take the VTA Route 10 (Airport Flyer) shuttle bus with the destination sign METRO LIGHT RAIL. The shuttles run every 15 minutes until about 10:00pm, and every 30 minutes from then until midnight [schedule]. From the final stop, catch the Light Rail at North 1st Street heading south. (Either Light Rail line - Mountain View to Winchester or Alum Rock to Santa Teresa - are fine). Stay on the Light Rail until it stops in front of the Convention Center on San Carlos St. The Marriott and the Hilton are closeby.

From San Francisco Airport

There are several shuttle companies that operate between San Francisco International Airport and San Jose. It is best to make an advance reservation.

South and East Bay Shuttle (408-225-4444 or 1-800-548-4664). Fares are $42 one way for the first passenger and $6 for each additional passenger.

SuperShuttle (415-558-8500 or 1-800-258-3826) Fares are $38 one way for the first passenger and $8 for each additional passenger.

A cheaper, though slightly more time-consuming option is to take BART from SFO to Millbrae station ($1.50). At Millbrae, get on Caltrain heading south to San Jose Diridon station ($5.25 for "travel within any 3 zones"). At San Jose Diridon station, you can take the Winchester to Mountain View Light Rail to the Convention Center ($1.75), or take a taxi or VTA bus of your choice to other destinations in downtown San Jose.
