Greetings,

I know there’s a quick way to do this, but it’s been awhile and I’m just not remembering. Somehow the setting on the cataloging module in our Millennium got changed so that instead of taking you to the item record summary (when you type in barcode, title, etc) it takes you to the bibliographic record and displays that. Does anyone remember the way to change this back? Thanks.

Shannon

You can change this in the View menu, Record View Properties. You can set the choices for Retrieval View, e.g., always open bib in Edit mode, and in Summary View, to
show All attached or show Items (for instance).

The setting for the can be found by going to the view drop down menu and selecting record view properties. This menu option disappears if you are open in a record, so make sure you are on the search screen when navigating to it.

Thank you. That was indeed it. And it may have been because I had a record open that I couldn't see it. I knew it was an easy fix, just my mind went blank. Thanks again .
