Hello All,
I am looking for some advice with print templates that are printed to a gmail email address. When we do this the fields seem to double space themselves causing a bit of unnecessary white space. However if we instead print directly from Sierra to a local printer then the spacing is just fine. Does anyone know how to resolve these issues?

Hi Brandon,
Different email clients can sometimes render the html in the print template a bit differently. Web-based email clients can sometimes alter the html when preparing it to be shown within their system and then once processed, will use the rendering client used by the browser you are using. You could try opening the email using a different browser, or edit the coding in the template to include the font inside a paragraph tag. (See point 7 in the link below for more info)
We found we had to increase the font size on our templates for email overdue notices because Microsoft Outlook was rendering the font smaller than the font size we had in our template. GMail and other web-based email clients didn't seem to be affected. (I wasn't confident enough to edit the coding to force the font size to a certain pixel size).
Hope this helps,

I'm having this same issue with Outlook - in the Outlook 365 web email every element of the print template has an extra space, however, in the Outlook client email the spacing is just fine. Has anyone found a work around? We are a university library, so our patrons are nearly all using Outlook - I'd hate for half of them to get a strange stretched out notice.

Did anyone find a solution to this issue? I'm seeing the same spacing issues in Gmail and Outlook Office 365 (Outlook 2016 looks fine).
