Thanks to everyone who participated in the "Undo Options for Sierra" (https://idealab.iii.com/undooptionsforsierra/Page/Home
) mini-challenge In Idea Lab earlier this fall. In just a week or two, we had 25 ideas submitted, garnering 600+ votes and 200+ comments. A big thanks to our challenge moderators , Julie Woodruff, Sheryl VanderWagen, Stephanie Gritz, Stephanie Ruhe, and Innovative Product Owner Laura Frasca for helping to guide the conversation.
We wanted to make sure everyone was aware of the winning idea, submitted by Eliza Richards of Auckland Libraries, "Undo Delete" (https://idealab.iii.com/undooptionsforsierra/Page/ViewIdea?ideaid=5017
). Eliza's idea will be moved into the product plan, and Laura Frasca has begun the process of evaluating how best to implement. She will be working with libraries as she evaluates the best design, and we will update when it will be in the Sierra roadmap once we have a better idea of the requirements and size of the project.
There were also 2 "honorable mentions" which are currently slated for development in 2019:
• Restore record in review file (https://idealab.iii.com/undooptionsforsierra/Page/ViewIdea?ideaid=4964
) from Jeremy Goldstein of Minuteman Library Network
• CREATE LISTS--Edit Search in Existing List (https://idealab.iii.com/undooptionsforsierra/Page/ViewIdea?ideaid=5258
) from Lisa Arm of Wellesley Free Library
Thank you all so much for contributing and look for another Sierra mini-challenge in early 2019.
