The University of Mount Union Library is seeking an experienced professional with at least five years of academic library experience to fill the position of Systems/Electronic Resources Librarian.
The Systems/Electronic Resources Librarian serves as the library’s systems specialist providing technical support for our integrated library system, maintaining the library’s web pages and electronic services, providing staff technical
support, and providing technical leadership in the library’s cooperative ventures including OPAL and OhioLINK. This librarian also supervises the government documents and periodicals operations of the library including training and supervising a staff member
and student assistants who work in these departments. She/he also shares in reference, instruction, and collection development duties as assigned and coordinates library marketing and publicity programs.
A master’s degree from a library school accredited by the American Library Association is required. A second master’s degree in an appropriate subject discipline is preferred but not required. Preference will be given to experience
