We're looking at migrating to Millennium 2014 SP4 shortly (and I'm ecstatic over the idea of Web Management Reports that don't require the Java plugin!) but wanted to know if anyone else had migrated to it, and if so, how you were liking the new release.

We know about the issue with displaying patron info in Encore, and that we will have to have III apply a hotfix for that, but are there any other issues that people are experiencing with SP4?

(Known Issues has not been helpful for me in this regard -- I couldn't even find the issue about displaying patron info there, but know about it because we got an email at the end of June.)

New issues? No issues?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Emily -

The UC San Diego Library upgraded to Millennium 2014 SP 4 back on June 20th. We attempted the self-upgrade, which we had done successfully several times in the past for other releases, but ran into an issue this time during the final phase of the process. As a result, we were offline about a half hour longer than we anticipated. We contacted III immediately upon identifying the problem and they helped us resolve it quickly. Operationally, SP4 has been running fine since we installed it. We were very excited to resolve an outstanding WMR Fund Reports issue!

Hi Emily, Did your upgrade go successfully? We are about to plan the timing to self upgrade from SP3. Can you say about how long your server was down during the upgrade?
