We are trying to use Circa for inventory but aren't having any luck on a consistent basis. It works for awhile then stops. It is frustrating because you don't know its not working until you scanned numerous barcodes in. Once we scan the barcodes when we hit the shelflist button nothing happens after several minutes it times out. " Service temporarily Unavailable". Has anyone had this problem and can it be resolved?

Thanks for any help you can give us.

We have just started using Circa for our inventory and as far as I know we only ran into that when we scanned too many books for a shelf list. Now, we limit it to 4 shelves of books at one time (less than 250 items), run the shelf list, fix any items out of order, and pull any books that have a status other than available to have a staff person review them. Then they do the next 4 shelves and on and on.

This works well. Also, I think it keeps the students (who are doing the inventory) from getting into a trance with the steady beep as they scan along. They pay more attention!
